That's an interesting perspective. Probably everyone dates aspirationally. You don't buy a scratch off just hoping to win $2, you want the jackpot. But I do think there is a limited number of prime partners out there. Statistically there are fewer thinner people, and certainly few attractive overall, and those tend to date their own. And with obesity and fat rates climbing like they have, that elite club is only getting smaller and more competitive.
