Thanks for the insightful comment. Yes, there is a vast disconnect between the median and even the average NWs of Americans compared to the super rich. If $5 mil is just embarrasing, then the typical $1.2 mil avg retirees get must be a travesty. My contention is that all this inflation has set off a casino culture and hamster wheel-ification, when instead of everyone obsessing over more digits, they shold be focused on trying to fix the system that's making it all that way.
