Thanks for reading. I think having one's parents stay together makes a huge positive difference. It certainly would have with me. Divorce and separation are hard on kids, but more so when you add in the cultural/race angle. Glad to hear about your story. Mixedness is not a monolithic experience, it is more individualistic. Everyone's mileage will vary.
