Tarantino is a bit of a freak, for sure. My biggest gripe with him is how he pressured Uma Thurman into driving a car for an action scene in Kill Bill that resulted in her getting into a serious accident. She wound up in the hospital with severe injuries. The scene was ultimately cut anyway. Tarantino stonewalled the release of the footage, helping to prevent her from suing the producer--Harvey Weinstein. She cut ties with him for a number of years after that, but has evidently made peace recently. Her daughter was even in Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood.
