I recall he either invented or popularized the use of the word "harrowing" also. He truly was a brilliant Western mind. It's a shame many woke teachers today dismiss him because he's an "old white guy." Had one college prof tell me he was only popular because his work had to be read in schools. Yeah, that obviously explains why he's remained relevant for almost 500 years to people all around the world.
