I guess that makes sense age-wise for gender participation rates. Younger women are usually fully booked with demand. Older women might have kids or work commitments that get in the way. While older men might just see the whole dating scheme as a money suck and not worth the time.
But some of the articles and videos I saw mention how even younger guys aren't coming out to dating sites anymore, whille more women are in attendance. A reversal of what I experienced some 10+ years ago. Could be a generational shift. Either way, it's sad that more people aren't meeting, and seem to be relying on the internet, especially as people's friend circles tend to srhink rapidly with age.
