Congrats on your success. My uncle just retired last year from his private practice as a pediatrcian, so I heard all kinds of horror stories over the years from him about running that business while practicing medicine, including about a former employee who stole $10k+. Then there's the red tape and bureacracy. Evidently, treating actual patients should be the last of a doctor's concern.
I do think your background brings to light an important nuance that this chart doesn't show--that many people who start as a professional in a job of some kind, build on that by opening their own office, or going into consulting. Some professions dovetail nicely with entrepreneurial ambitions, but that doesn't always mean the biz side of things gets along with the work side.
